An academic foundation and fabulous rural setting for a truly inspirational start in life

The Elms School

The Elms School is a co-educational, independent prep school located in Colwall, Herefordshire, England, at the foot of the stunning Malvern Hills. The school caters for children from 2½ to 13 years old and features a fully working farm, managed by the pupils, stables to home resident pupil’s ponies, as well as state-of-the-art sports facilities, theatre, swimming pool and science laboratories.

Under the new leadership of Headmaster Chris Hattam, the school wanted communications that appropriately reflected their revised vision. They wanted to celebrate their rural setting and agricultural heritage, without appearing “a farm school”.

Lost & Found Creative created a highly visual, responsive website that was packed with images, infographics and video, catering for prospective parents as well as pupils.

Films created by BrandVox really bring the website to life, offering far more than static visuals. Prospective parents really get a sense of “a day in the life of an Elms pupil”.

Printed communications continued this look and feel and offer brand continuity, but with so much information online, this document was consciously condensed to function as an inspirational document rather than informative; it functions as a prompt to book a tour or visit the website rather than being a reference guide. The supporting folder, information sheets and guides ensure parents leave with everything they could possibly want to make an informed decision regarding the future education of their child.

Lost & Found Creative have really helped us through the process of creating our new school website. We wanted a completely new look and feel and structure to our site and Andy and his team have guided us through the process with great patience, understanding and knowledge.
